About FRAMINGS

FRAMINGS was founded in 1989 by Judy and Carter Willsey. Judy is part of the legendary Gilmartin family of custom picture framers. Judy’s father had a magical shop in Hawthorne, New York, which her sister still operates today.

FRAMINGS is considered one of the best custom framing work rooms in the tri-state area. FRAMINGS is located in Armonk, New York. We frame for some of the Architectural Digest Magazine top 100 designers and many award winning high end interior designers. FRAMINGS is known for our unflappable ability to handle any job no matter the size and to make a client’s vision come to fruition.

In our 34-year history, FRAMINGS has been trusted to frame thousands of valuable art works such as Magritte, Calder, Picasso, Miro, Hockney, Mr. Brainwash, Basquiat, Wegman, Lautrec and of course, little Bobby Quigley, local 8-year-old master-in-the-making.

All of our framing projects are treated with equal reverence and the utmost care. Most of the work is one step down from archival and, when requested, can be 100% archival.

FRAMINGS has a selection of over 4,000 corner samples: museum quality, hand carved, standard factory made and economy—it’s all on the wall for you to see.

Never hesitate to consult with our designers. We are ready to tackle ANY project in ANY price point.

We love what we do and it shows.

We’re sure you will come to understand: What a Difference a Frame Makes.
